Vernon, NY, November 14, 2015- Unitex, a regional business with locations throughout the Northeast and a leader in the healthcare laundry industry, is supporting the Girls on the Run Hudson Valley 5k event taking place on November 14th at Riverlight Park in Cornwall, NY. Girls on the Run is an international organization that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Over 170,000 girls across 225+ cities across North America take part in Girls on the Run (GOTR) programs each year. The 5k event in Hudson Valley is the culminating experience of the program’s curriculum. Crossing the finish line is a defining moment for each of these girls as they realize that anything is possible.
The event on November 14th is the second GOTR 5k event in Hudson Valley that Unitex is supporting this year.
