Elmsford, NY, April 2017— Earlier this month, Unitex was happy to support the 12th Annual Big Hearts Walk for St. Mary’s Kids & Family Fun Day that took place in Crocheron Park, Bayside, NY. St. Mary’s, the leading resource for children with special needs, celebrated this fun-filled event with staff, patients, friends and family. Everyone walked to support the mission of St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children, which is to improve the health and quality of life for all of the facility’s children and their families. The walk was then followed by arts & crafts, face painting, fun snacks and lots of surprises for the entire family as a way to help raise funds and awareness for the organization. Unitex was involved to help support this mission.
And according to the team at St. Mary’s more than 500 people came out to support the walk and the facility raised more than $75,000 for services and programs at St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children.
