Mt. Vernon, NY, October, 2015- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Unitex, a regional business with locations throughout the Northeast and a leader in the healthcare laundry industry, is supporting Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (Westchester), a community program that honors and celebrates breast cancer survivors and raises awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society.

As the largest network of breast cancer awareness events across the country, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk participants and sponsors raise funds that will enable the American Cancer Society to put an end to breast cancer once and for all.

“Breast cancer impacts so many lives and we feel that it is crucial for everyone to get involved and offer support,” said David Potack, Vice President of Unitex. “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a program that celebrates survivorship and supports the fight against breast cancer and we are proud to be part of that.”

In addition to supporting the American Cancer Society, Unitex is also involved with the American Heart Association and a variety of other organizations striving to help make for a healthier and better world.
